ESTRO’s fact sheets provide general information the tumours commonly treated with radiotherapy, as the only treatment, or in combination with other forms of treatment.
They have been written with the help of experts to provide up to date, accurate information about the more common forms of cancer and their treatment, with a focus on key developments, the contribution to care of other health professionals as well as side effects of treatment and their management.
In all there are 17 fact sheets but most describe more than one disease. The topics covered are listed in the navigation bar to the right. The glossary defines words that are likely to be unfamiliar.
