ESTRO’s fact sheets provide general information the tumours commonly treated with radiotherapy, as the only treatment, or in combination with other forms of treatment.
They have been written with the help of experts to provide up to date, accurate information about the more common forms of cancer and their treatment. Together with the Fact and Figures section, the fact sheets provide a comprehensive resource which will help journalists and others understand all the important issues about cancer, the available approaches to treatment, current trends and important areas of development.
In all there are 17 fact sheets but most describe more than one disease. The topics covered are listed in the navigation bar to your right. The glossary defines words that are likely to be unfamiliar.
